Blessing of the Charity Quilts
 

Over 350 quilts were blessed and distributed to the children from local schools. I made a patriotic quilt for 9-11 and it was proudly displayed on the piano. I was so proud.

Wow! That is a lot of quilts.

Many of our quilters are Winter Texans, so we were on a skeleton crew all summer. That is when I made my quilt-tops.

Isn't this wonderful. We do the Blessing of the Quilts in our guild also. We gave over 300 away last year.

That is wonderful for the children to have the sense of community that people beyond their moms and dads, grandmas and grandpas care for them! Kudos to all of you who participated!
