Finished the Dresden block flower block. In the directions she said to trace the patterns onto freezer paper, iron them on the dresdens and stitch. The stitch length was at 0 but I am having a little trouble getting some of the paper out on the feathers. Any suggestions. It was a fun block to stitch and quilt.

I've used tweezers and maybe dampening it.

Love the block and learning how to quilt it sounds great. Where do I go to get info on this project?
Thanks

I paper piece a lot. If they are little bits of paper, I always figured they wouldn't hurt to leave them in there.

Peg, I use a clean white eraser sometimes, but what works even better is the eraser end of a Frixion pen. It seems to grab those little bits the best. Sometimes they even stick to the eraser and you have to clear them off to continue. I showed someone at retreat this trick and her comment was, "Where were you when I started this? LOL" Works like a charm.
By the way, I like your block. I haven't even started and probably won't for awhile. I still have the first one to finish FMQing on, but am happy so far.
