Me and a couple of friends decided to all do this quilt just on our own. We all picked out fabrics in our choice of colors and met once a week at a house. I did a lot of the blocks on my own though in between our meetings. Each block has 3 or 4 hoopings and it is important to mark out your block and use templates of the designs printed out on velum paper. I have a UFO that is the Color Purple next generation that I need to finish up. It is done the same way. I have 4 more blocks to do. I got side tracked on other projects.

Wonderful quilt to cuddle under on a cold blustery day

I have also done the block party quilt. Mine is in shade of blue. I really enjoyed doing this. I also made 2 pillow shams to go with it using the central part of the quilt.
