Lovely pattern. I would like to know if the block pattern is available anywhere as it's a lovely thoughtful thing to be involved in.
|
I would love to see how these blocks are laid out into a quilt.
|
Thoughtful concept and a lovely block.
|
Very different.

I love the partial seam squares. I made a Square Family quilt; all the squares were partial seamed. I loved making it and it looks so nice with the strips all the same size all around the square. I like the pleats, too.

I don't know the name of the block but the instruction on how to make it are here:
The block pattern is here on the site of the dear nurse who puts these quilts together for dying patients. http://katandcatquilts.blogspot.com/...ock-drive.html She does a wonderful thing for the patients & families. I just found out about this about a month ago. She doesn't have the name of the block here but does have instructions on how to make it. It finishes out at a 12 1/2" block. |
Jeanne S from this board posted the instructions for this block. Its called "Charity Quilt Pattern".

The thread is "Charity Quilt Pattern" by Jean S
