Most of the markings are already gone after finishing the quilting, it's also possible to brush them off. For light fabrics I use the method of needlemarking with a darning needle. It works great and no marks have to be removed after the quilting is finished. I quilt in a 18" hoop on a stand (Jasmine). I only quilt in one direction and I have to turn my quilting work, therefore a frame is not suitable for me. Hope that helps! |

Thank you for the quilting information. I have a lot to learn. Violet

You are welcome, Violet! I'm a wholecloth quilter for more than 15 years now. I have started hand quilting in 1989 and I still learn something new with every quilt I make. I am sure the learning process lasts a complete quilter's life!

ALL of your work is just amazing to me! Arthritis in fingers is my excuse now, but the truth is, I have NEVER been able to do what you do so marvellously!!! Before I had arthritis, I didn't have that much patience.

Oh my absolutely beautiful.
