Blue & White Baby Quilt
2 Attachment(s)
I finally put the "quilt from hell" into the mail yesterday. It presented problems from the very beginning. Ran out of some of the blue and bound it in another blue, they changed the spelling of the baby's name last week, and for some reason, although each block is the same, it didn't end up square. Started it in January with the baby to be born at the end of this month and got so tired of it that I only did QID instead of all-over FMQ. The pattern and color were chosen by the father-to-be and I got so bored working with only two colors that I rebelled on the back too. Definitely not my best work, but at least it's done!

Sorry it was such a burdensome quilt. It came out nice, nonetheless, and I'm sure baby and parents will love it. Thanks for sharing.

You did a good job on it. They should love it!

It is a very pretty baby quilt. I know how you feel about quilts that start out bad from the start and you have to stick it out and finish it. I bet it will be well loved.
|
I like it. Great fabric for the backing.
|
Cute quilt! The baby will love it!

If I end up at the hospital tonight it's your fault! I am laughing so hard I can't get my breath. I guess we've all had a quilt (or something) from hell. But yours did turn out really well. Congrats on getting it finished and out of the house.

Oh do I know how you feel. I just finished a two color Jacob's Ladder. 42 blocks later I was ready to scream, but it was for our grandson's graduation and his color choice ---- green & gold. Boy was I glad when it was done. Love the DGS, aptly named Jacob.

It really is wonderful despite your being tired of the two colors, reminds me of finnish quilts. Very refreshing and I love the design.
