It is a bobbin necklace. It just arrived today. Is this not the cutest thing you ever saw? I just had to share this.

I think it's going to be REAL popular, I just tried to view it on their website and they are having technical difficulties with their on-line ordering!

This is a great idea to use up all those warped bobbins that won't work in my machines.

They had that message on their site when I ordered mine on Feb. 14th. I had no trouble ordering it online and it arrived today...3 days = great service.

attended a quilt show last saturday and one of the vendors had one of these on. it is cute but i am not much of a jewelry wearer.

Just imagine you are outside, hiking in the woods, and all of a sudden "O MY !!! ", your pants get caught on a branch and rip half-off !!! What will the resourceful and talented quilter do ????!!!

She whips out her trusty sewing needle, hidden cleverly in her shirt lapel ~ unwinds threads from her lovely bobbin necklace ( she just got in the mail yesterday ) and quickly mends the pants using intricate embroidery stitches to pretty it up a bit !! Voila !! She has saved her favorite pants and looks Oh sew trendy !!!!

I think you need to wear this necklace simply for its practicality ~
