This was another toughy for me since it is a black and white high contrast. When I was done with the SID quilting and the binding, my sewing machine gave out, so I ended up tying it with red floss in the center squares.
DONE YEAH!!!!

It's going to Germany, to my friend's daughter. She has a beautiful singing voice - hence the musical fabric. I HAD to use that multicolored backgroung fabric. It provided some funky vibes in contrast to the front.

That's funny, Joan - I CAN"T WAIT to get it out of my line of sight. I need to work with something "blendy" for a while. None of that black and white stuff.

It's in the box as we speak - heading to the old country. As for the machine - the bobbin case was broken (that's where the metal fragment came from) and the timing was off (which is why it stopped sewing).

The repair guy just called and I can pick it up tomorrow.
