However, two of the blocks are my design, one is Going to market, where Denise is going to market with her little hen, and the other one I designed is called farewell...It shows a bonnet girl bidding farewell to a riverboat...

No, the bonnet girls are not cut outs. They are appliqued pieces which i cut out and appliqued..Even the tiny pieces are appliqued, for instance, the hands, the little bird, etc. The faces are drawn with derwent pencils and micron pens.
