Bonus HST Border
1 Attachment(s)
As I was working on this border I wasn’t sure I’d like it. I used the bonus HST from the snowballed corners of the blocks. Now that it’s sewn on I’ve decided it looks better than I thought it would. There will be one more wider border to finish it off. The photo only shows part of the quilt.

I love it! it looks great! I save all of my bonus HST's too. I just cant waste them.
It looks great! Just the right finish for your top.
I think it looks fabulous, so glad you kept at it. I too save all my bonus HST. I save them away in ziplock baggies by size. So many things can be made with them.
Beautiful top, can't wait to see it quilted.
I really like that border! Good thinking!
a nice way to use up those corners
OH I like it! hst's are great!
Aren't you smart! Use up those triangles on the same quilt, while you have everything matching.

Lovely quilt and love all of your fabrics.
Great job, I think you hit a home run with the border.
I like it!
It looks great and good for you using those up! I save mine but so far haven't used any. Probably the best idea to use them in the quilt they came from.
Great use of those bonus HST's.
It's a great quilt and great use of fabric!
I like the border a lot. REcently, I made a quilt where I repurposed trimmed quarters to add to a border. It seems to fit the goal of quilts, which is to make good use of small scraps of fabric.
Love the HST border on your beautiful quilt.
I like the border, too. Beautiful fabrics and quilt.
Your smaller triangles are a nice finish to this.
