Virginia, If you look at this pattern of Eleanor Burns' she actually also has patterns for placemats which I thought of just joining and making a table runner. They are even simpler than this pumpkin. Check it out; it might work for your runner.

So CUTE!! I love the candy corn! Really adds life to it!
