Love the borders!!!

My eyes played a trick on me in the first picture; however, what I might suggest, depending how large a quilt you want, would be to put four blocks together for the secondary design (making a large block) and then a purple larger sashing between all the large blocks. Wala..your own personal design! Keep us posted.........

I prefer the setting with the purple. It looks great.

I vote for the purple sashing and border. Sashing, 2 inches, border 4.5 inches.

I like it without the border, but I LOVE it with the border!

The borders.

I like it both ways, but think it would be really great with narrow sashing and wider outer border around the whole quilt. I think I would also like the stripe as the cornerstones of the sashing and as the binding.

I also like the secondary design found when you do NOT add the sashing between the blocks.

I really love it with the purple sashing! Looks good either way, but that is my favorite. Then someone else posted to make a wider border around the whole quilt top. Great advice! I also love the idea of using the stripe as your binding. Would really tie it all together. Anxious to see it completed. Great job!
