The border brings more attention to the colors in the quilt, I think the border is great. A beautiful quilt and a vast amount of work to make this quilt. SALUTE!!!!!

WOW - all those squares - I'd be tired just counting the squares. You did an awesome job.

Jakers1 07-07-2013 08:04 AM

I love this - I am making a GFG quilt and will be doing a double wedding ring, so I will have lots of scraps. What pattern is this - I will have the squares to do one (maybe not a king size though).

I'm glad you decided on borders. I love this quilt.

feline fanatic 07-07-2013 02:12 PM

I definitely think this quilt needed borders and so glad you included them. Great use of color value on this.

I love it. Scrappy is good.

WMUTeach 07-08-2013 08:07 AM

Another idea of how to use my 2.5 squares! So many ideas and so little time but then sooooooo many little squares to use up! Tee- Hee! What fun!

I love scrappy quilts and yours turned out great. Would you share the pattern name or did you design it.

I really don't know the name of the quilt. I was a picture of it and thought of all the 2.5 squares I had and decided to make it. Real easy to make I don't usually use patterns. If I see a picture and like it I make it. lol

shirleyd 07-08-2013 05:06 PM

Wow! 976 2.5" squares! I've never tried anything that time consuming. It's beautiful! And the border is perfect complement to the quilt.
