Once I got started on these I couldn't stop...this luggage tag is for my son. He supports me fully in my love of quilting, but is not the traditional kind of guy, so I had to go with a fabric for the border that was more of a contemporary look
These are for Identifying your luggage as they go around the carousel, not for putting a label with your address. I started making these because all black suitcases look the same! Mine are going to be much brighter colored fabrics. |
GREAT JOB!!!!
Why didn't I think of that? I just have some bright scraps that I sewed together and tied to the handle of my suitcase. |

I used to use a scrubby BEFORE scrubbys became popular. You wouldn't believe all of them you see on luggage, but now the luggage handlers say those are a pain in the butt.
I used the bright fabric and can spot it right away. |
It's really cute. I like it, and I'm sure your son will too.

Great idea! I think I'll do the same with some of my scraps. Thanks for sharing!

Great idea! It's been quite a while since I've been to the airport. But I remember one time I grabbed a bag that was the same bag as mine, but none of the other bags from my family had come out yet so we still had to wait. When the rest of the bags came out, mine did too... turned out I had taken someone elses bag... oops. I felt terrible after that, because I probably made someone else wait longer for their bags. That was years ago though.

How cute!
