this is not completed yet.. just wanted to show you what i have been up to today..
i have a gf in washington state who has seen my bags.. she sent me this fabric thru the mail and asked if i could make her a bow tuck.. well here it is .. i have to do the ties in red and add the button tomorrow.. isn't this fabric just beautiful !!!! oh ,, and i have to sew around the top !! but you can see that !!! the fabric comes all embroideried like that.. i just added the fusible batting and put it together.. i didn't want to quilt on it... it didn't need anything from me in that area !!

Reversing the fabrics will also be absolutely gorgeous. A whole different personality.

thankyou everyone.. i will repost tomorrow when i finish it up... then stay tune for the reverse model.. she sent a yard of each.. but it is much wider so i can get two out of it.. the next one will be the ruby on top and green on bottom...

Very pretty! I love the fabrics, and had wondered how it would turn out in the heavier weighted ones. Nice to know it sews perfectly fine with them.
