The tops are both done ready to go to the LAQ on Monday. The picture that shows the corner of the boy's quilt really shows the colors of the fabric the most realistically. Plan to make a small "drag around" of some of the leftovers for the little boy to have now. These are destined for the closet shelf until the children are grown, according to their mother. The father was an avid hunter so the camo fabrics seemed to be appropriate.

Great quilts!

I like both. The borders from the original girl's quilt look good on the boy's quilt. The differing camouflage fabrics look good.

It will always mean so much to them, I made quilts out of His Fire Department shirts for 2 children that's father died of cancer and I know it help me as much as it helped them.

They both turned out so nice. I am sure the mother is going to be so pleased she asked you to do this. I don't think anyone would have done it better. They will be cherished for a long time. You are so sweet to have done this for the family. Bless you!

These are wonderful and hopefully will hold some memories for the kids. That is what I worry about...after I put so much time and effort into a quilt and then give it away, will it ever be appreciated. Then I think...maybe not now but in 100 years! :-)

Wonderful quilts, they will be treasured.
