Love this pattern, so much I cut 2 more of them out of my stash...I do need to get accent fabric tho...Not much purple in this focus fabric but enough...Am making the next one bigger and making sure the purple isn't cut off or out of the blocks this time...Am making one out of batiks too...

Simple but timeless. You can't argue with that! I have the original BQ design my late buddy bought me on one of her trips. I am collecting the fabrics slowly to make it up.
I hope mine comes out looking as good as yours does.

It a Debbie Bowles pattern, if you google it they come up...I think BQ stands for big blocks

I have made many BQ (Big Quilt) quilts from baby to twin bed size. Fast, easy and you get to use the great focus fabrics out there - where you can see the design and not just cut it up.

How pretty

This one of my favorite patterns, made two baby quilts, with embroidery in some of the squares. Great job!
