I finally finished my daughter and son-in-law’s quilt. Only took 6 years. 🥵

Lovely quilt and done!! I know the same feeling...from a DWR that took 8 years (part of that due to handquilting by my mom). I found a sew in label that says."This took forever." That brings a laugh when folks see it. It's great to finish and kudos to you for sticking with it. Sure to be enjoyed!

Congratulation on finishing. No matter how long it took, you did it! I have an apple core quilt I started in 1998, the year our son graduated high school. I'm hand piecing it and still have two rows to go. haha I would like to hand quilt it (something I've never done) but there's no telling when I would get it done. Your quilt looks great! :thumbup:

I am plugging along with a quilt a started 2009. It has the first block I made when I learned to quilt. Our guild hosted a block of the month. The blocks went in the closet and back out again this year to try out a quilt as you go method. I will look forward to being done this year for sure! |
