Attitude is a wonderful tool. So happy you are making a beautiful quilt to tell your success story. It is wonderfully done, and you should be very proud of it as well as yourself for your courage. This is my very first quilt.
It's about my journey through breast cancer. When my son was 4 months old, I was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. The flower yo-yo's represent lymph nodes, the buttons cancer cells. 25 lymph nodes were removed, 23 lymph nodes were positive for cancer. One of the lymph nodes the cancer broke through. This quilt is a work in progress, I still need to represent the chemotherapy, radiation therapy and bone marrow transplant. This story has a happy ending, my son will be starting college this month. BEautiful story and quilt and CONGRATULATIONS on your long journey. GOD is Good isn't He! So glad you have been there for your son through his growing up years and pray that you will be able to see grandchildren graduate from college and give you great grandchildren. |
