My friend, Brenda Yirsa, just sent me this image of her latest quilt. I asked her if I could share it with you. Would you like to see this as a fusible web pattern?

I love poppies. This is a beautiful quilt.

sundancer 07-10-2011 09:33 AM

Oh I will share your comments with her!
It is made with the fusible web technique.
Trace, cut and iron and then add stitches.
It sure doesn't look that easy, but it is:)
At least to recreate.

Absolutely beautiful! I really like the whole design of it. Tell your friend thanks for letting you post it.

sundancer 07-10-2011 09:51 AM

Yes, that is gorgeous! Looks complicated!

sundancer 07-12-2011 10:53 AM

Jammin Jane, but it truly isn't you trace, cut and iron then add stitches. It is made using the fusible web applique technique.

It's gorgeous! Yes, I would consider buying it.

KLO 07-12-2011 01:04 PM

I have done quite a few fusible quilt designs (such as McKenna Ryan) and as sundancer said, they are easy to do and the end product looks so great! I have really fallen in love with a number of the Bigfork Bay Cotton Co. designs especially the life-like animals such as the horses. One or two (or four or five) are on my to-do list.

sundancer 07-12-2011 01:20 PM

Awesome!
