I stalked the Board for a long time too. Great button buttercup quilt. I also noticed two more quilts on your design
wall(s). You were a very busy lady before Christmas! Do you hand quilt or free motion quilt? Good to your you here.

welcome to the board!

suenichols 01-17-2013 03:43 AM

Thank you all so much. I was really nervous about posting a quilt. The quilts I see on here are so fabulous. The pattern is called Button Up Buttercup by FriendFolk. This is the third one I made using this pattern. One was in homespuns, one in bright flannels, and this one. I loved them all. And, Nancia, I machine quilt. I don't have the time to hand quilt and would probably not be good at it.

That is just the cutest quilt!!!

I do love the quilt! I am curious about the pattern, can you describe the process a bit for me? Looks like flowers were appliqued?

Your quilt is really pretty, I am sure the kids love them.

suenichols 01-17-2013 03:54 PM

It wasn't really difficult at all. You start with a 16 1/2 inch square and do snowball corners and then applique the flower petals on.

titustwofive 01-17-2013 05:08 PM

That is just beautiful!

bibi 01-17-2013 05:32 PM
