that's really wonderful! is the pattern called button up buttercup? or is that your name for it? at any rate, i really like it and would like to make one for my dgd.
welcome to the board! |
Thank you all so much. I was really nervous about posting a quilt. The quilts I see on here are so fabulous. The pattern is called Button Up Buttercup by FriendFolk. This is the third one I made using this pattern. One was in homespuns, one in bright flannels, and this one. I loved them all. And, Nancia, I machine quilt. I don't have the time to hand quilt and would probably not be good at it.

That is just the cutest quilt!!!

I do love the quilt! I am curious about the pattern, can you describe the process a bit for me? Looks like flowers were appliqued?

Super bright way to bring summer into a girls room. Excellent job

You have been quilting for about a year and you made quilts for all 7 of your grandchildren???? You are amazing! Love your bright, pretty quilt.

Your quilt is really pretty, I am sure the kids love them.

It wasn't really difficult at all. You start with a 16 1/2 inch square and do snowball corners and then applique the flower petals on.
|
That is just beautiful!

Of course they would be, considering your quilt is absolutely gorgeous. You are a natural quilter.
