I thought it was time I made a new purse. I have alot of requirements in what I want in a purse so I usually have to adjust just about any pattern I use. This one I didn't change much. I did change the shape of the pocket opening. Just rounded them a bit. I added a cell phone pocket on the back and a pull tab on the zipper. All in all that isn't much change so I would recommend this bag pattern. Don't buy it if you are a new sewer though. I have sewn for 40 yrs now and I had to read the directions a few times to get it. That could be me getting old or sewing at night tho....:shock:

I just bought this pattern and am looking forward to a new purse too. Yours is very summery, nice fabric choices. A bright lining fabric like yours makes a purse so much friendlier.

I love this pattern. Have made three of them -- one for me and two for gifts.

I actually wore out the first one -- used it until it was developing huge worn spots on the bottom. Will make another when I can find time.

I love it. I made this pattern using upholstery fabric. I love it, but it is a 'wintery' purse. Looks like I need to make another one. I do agree, this is not a pattern for beginning sewers.
