The little do dad at the bottom of the bobbin case just popped out. That happened before and I just bought a new one. This time the place where I bought my machine is out of them and I need it today. Seems like it would be easy to fix but I cannot get it to stay. Any ideas?

You should be able to see two little grooves in the case. Put the little feet back in the grooves and it should work.

If it doesn't want to stay, bend the flexible piece a little to flatten it.

Hi, I would suggest if you can't get the do dad back in to go with "Magic Bobbin Washers". They are a teflon washer that you put in your bobbin case to improve on the quality of your bobbin thread performance. In fact I took out my do dad and use these instead. They were designed for longarm machines but you can also get them in the L size for your regular sewing machine. If you would like to check them out look at www.freemotionslider.com plus they help keep your bobbin check cooler when sewing for long periods of time.

Thanks and good luck,

Looks like the bobbin case from my Tin Lizzie. Mine did the same thing. It will just pop back in, the prongs will only fit one way. I went and got mine to look at, but I can't see for sure if the wider spaced prongs are at the top or bottom and I don't want to take it apart. ;-) It looks like you have it oriented correctly in the photo, but like I said, it will only fit one way. It happened when I first got my machine. After I popped it back in it never came out again.

It is from my Tin Lizzie. Everytime I tried it popped back out. When My DH got home from work he fixed it right away. Love that Man!

Thanks Sherryl, I'm going to try that for sure.
