Hard to do a guy quilt. This is wonderful!
|
You did an excellent job on both the quilt and the quilting. And, it's my opinion that no one but quilters ever look at a binding!
|
I bet he sure does love his sister!

Lovely quilt. It looks like your quilt inspector has given this quilt his approval.
|
Very pretty, and what would we do without our little inspectors? :)
|
I love your quilt! What pattern is it? Or did I miss where you told?

Cash-mom, I googled "big print quilts" and "modern quilts" and came across this quilt in one of the images. I liked the size of a 2" finished block for the smallest block and the sashing and just did the math from there. One of the pictures shows the actual block - It has the large rectangle, medium size square, and the 4 smaller squares. So many quilts these days are kits, so i'm assuming this was a kit. |

You're right MFord, we probably are the only ones who look at the binding, but is'nt it a great feeling to take what has the potential to be a huge "oops" and find a solution! |
I really like your quilt in every way. I like that pattern; it is very intriguing and makes a quite masculine look. And yet, the color combination is calming. I know it will be truly enjoyed. Yes, those low temps invite one to stay inside, sit under a favorite quilt, drink hot chocolate and read a great book.

I bet even your cat inspector cannot find the difference. I don't have a cat now but miss how curious and helpful.? They can be. Lovely quilt for your brother
