Wow! That is absolutely gorgeous AND a labor of love from you. Since I have a Gammill longarm machine I cannot imagine hangquilting a quilt that size. You did a beautiful job!!

This turned out absolutely gorgeous!! I love the choice in colors and what a wonderful job you did
with the piecing and quilting. I am sure she is glad she waited for this fabulous quilt. |
Look at all those crisp points! You did an amazing job on this quilt. This is sure the winter to gift a quilt!

Beautiful!!! And I am so happy to see a lot of quilting!!! Usually when I see hand quilted quilts, there is a minimum of quilting. I fear for it's future. Yours looks wonderful!!

My second daughter reminded me that I had not made her a bed quilt since she was in college more than 20 years ago. What kind of mother must I be, although she does have numerous lap and wall hanging quilts. She wanted it to be only brown and beige and even sent me several yards of fabric to start with. It finished to be 90 inch square. I paper pieced the majority and hand quilted it. Next week it will be going up to Illinois to help her get through this wicked winter.
