I love your quilt, and Franie's too. Newfoundland and British Columbia are quite a ways apart - does Ryan commute frequently?

No, he pretty much waits until summer to fly across the country! When he went to school out there he came home each Christmas... now he's paying for the tickets! There was one Christmas that he was 48 hours getting home... including 10 hours sitting on the tarmac in Vancouver waiting for the snow to clear! He spent his 17th birthday sitting in an airline provided hotel room waiting for Toronto Airport to reopen after a massive snow storm. He likes summer commutes WAY better! |

This is for a guest room in our house that we refer to as Ryan's room. Ryan is almost 28 and left home to go to school at the tender age of 16 and has only been home for vacations and school breaks since then. I don't think there is anything more beautiful than a sampler quilt. I love to make them. You did a beautiful job.
