Bubbles or Pebbles
 

I ignored that my customer had suggested just a simple meander for her SIS's queen quilt and did the obvious.
When she saw it complete she was thrilled.
I like if much better when they leave the design work to me. :D

She also asked me to finish this small ( 36x48) wall hanging (second pic) for her.....just some SID.....the whole thing.
No wonder she wanted ME to do it. As the pieces were small i choose to do it on my Juki rather than the LA. My shoulders are still aching from hauling that thing around. Reminds me WHY I bought the LA in the first place. :eek:

I love them both! Your bubbles really do make the quilt IMO. Lots of work on both of them.

The pebbles were perfect for the quilt with the circles.

I LOVE the circles you quilted onto her circle quilt! It really accented the design wonderfully. My eyes are acting up tonight and I cant see the quilting on the second quilt but am sure you did a lovely job on it.

The quilting really adds to that first quilt. Isn't it great when you do something for someone and they just love it. The second quilt looks like it was very well made.

Quilting really is the complement to beautiful tops. I admire stitch in the ditch because it does give statement to quilt design without competing with it. However, beautiful quilting design like you did in the first quilt is such a complement to the pattern. Your circles are just perfect for that lovely quilt. Great job.

Love the bubble quilt and the quilting. I'm just starting to think about doing a "modern" quilt like the bubble one. I love your idea of echoing the bubbles in your quilting. I agree with you on SITD --- I don't like doing it at all.
