Bug Jars, Finally Finished. . .
 

I know, I know, it took me forever. But I finally got it done. Now to send it to the quilter. Can't wait to get it back! And I'm sure my grandson will be glad to get it finally.

The green background is fabulous! I've seen many bug jar quilts, but they are always done with a light background. The darker background really shows what is in each jar! Great job!

It wasn't hard. I didn't have a pattern. I just made it up as I went along. You can do it too!

Very cute. This is on my to do list. I have a niece who would love this, and I've been collecting fabric for a while now. Not easy to find tho. I'm almost there. I've even got miniature sock monkeys to go in mine. Not insects, but I think they are cute.
