A bundle of 8FQs plus 1
1 Attachment(s)
I posted a request yesterday for a pattern that would accommodate 16 Fat Quartes ( 8 different fabrics). Thank- you for the suggestions, which led me to be inspired. I grabbed a piece of graph paper and a pencil and started to map out a design. The cut measures for larger rectangle is 22x13; the rectangles are (2) 6.75 and (1) 6.5 (middle) with 2 inch sashing. Not sure if I want to put a border on this or not since I have (8) FQs left. Will use those for the backing if no border.

Wow! Love your design. Good idea for some of my large prints also.
it looks really cute! I might add the film strip edge. You already have the one white strip, I would use little coloured squares the same size as the white and put the same size white squares between and then another white strip.
It came out very nice. Love the colors.
Great colors!!!
Well, now, I like it! Love the colors!
Geez, you are super speedy!! That's a great quilt. Love the design and colors. :)
That turned out so nice. Very creative.
what a pretty design, and you used most of the fat quarter, which is even better!
nicely done
I like it, and it was great the way you could fussy cut the racoons.
Cool pattern, very pretty!
You did a great job. Sometimes the simple quilts with bright fabric can come out quite stunning.
Beautiful! I think it's fine with just the white around it - unless you need it bigger.
Love what you did with them! You've inspired me to do something similar with a bunch of FQs I didn't want to cut into small pieces. Some prints just cry for large blocks.
Very pretty. Nice colors
Great imaginative use of your fat quarters. The quilt is wonderful.
Wonderful use of your focus raccoon fabric! Isn't this board the best for jump starting our ideas? Great job.
Love your geometric pattern!
Love your design and your beautiful fabrics.
Very pretty, so fresh and crisp! Unless you need it bigger, I wouldn't add any more, JMHO.
great quilt top!!
I really like this! You did a great job!
What a great result. Love the colours.

Love your quilt!
Very resourceful of you! It's a great design. Is that Tula Pink fabric? The colors are so fun. Nice job.

That is just beautiful :)
Great design and color placement of fabrics. I like your white sashing. I think the quilt is perfect as it is without adding a border. Thank you for sharing.
I really like this. I have a FQ bundle that I've been wanting to use for quite some time now. Something like this would be great.
Love the design!
Fabulous! Love the colors!
Looks great. You sure are speedy! As nanacc said, it's a great idea for some of the larger prints we all have. I think it's perfect without a border. But that's just my 2 cents!
Beautiful. Border or no border...., I think with or without would be just as good. So, you decide.:) Thanks for sharing your design.:)
Thank- you to all who complimented on the quilt. It's very much appreciated!
Great design...
