Those pictures are great! It took me a lot longer the first time I did my Grace frame but it is basically the same as what you have. Yours looks to be a much sturdier and better made frame, but I do know that it is a bit more expensive. Being new, I did not know one from another, but my frame works for me. I did do an overside lap quilt on a large Hintenburg round standing hoop but I will never do that again. It was much too big and bulky and that frame is better suited for smaller pieces, I think. While I think of it, do you have trouble wth Fons and Porter pencils? Mine do not seem to show up very well so I end up using regular #2 pencils which washes out completely when I wash the quilt. it is the only pencil that I can get to show up clearly.

Ninnie - any updated quilting photos?
Looks like the heart stencil was specifically created for this pattern.
Very nice job. Very nice quilting. Very nice lady to show us the steps. :-)

How long are your rollers? And have you ever tried doing a quilt that is longer than the rollers?

My rollers are 87.5" long on the inside of the frame. But the two quilts I have to do are 89" and 90".

I'm trying to figure out what to do...try to extend the length of the rollers (a project for DH since my rollers are metal conduit)?

Have you ever done a quilt that was too long and folded the too long end over on itself on one end? I would think that it would get to thick on the front bar as you roll the completed quilt towards you...

I don't have a long arm, but great questions!
Ninnie, as you know I haven't been around much for a good while.
The quilt is gorgeeeeous, like you haven't been told that!
Can't wait to see it all done, but I can wait...not impatient like the others. so, the minute you are tired of it...you remember our agreement.
I'm next in line, lol :XD:
