Love it. Have this pattern on my bucket list to do in purples and yellows. Haven't decided on the 3rd color yet. Making mine to fit a king size bed so a huge project in itself. Did you use his ruler and instructions? Have them both but haven't gotten to sit down to read up on them. Love of the photo in the middle. Looked like a very sweet animal.

Good job.

Snooze, The ruler is great! I would suggest that you make a sample block first. I did. The very important thing about this ruler when setting it down on your piece to trim it, is the bottom of the ruler. If you set the ruler down so that the bottom of it is always touching the background piece or the center piece (whatever you may call it) then the size of the pieces will always be correct. The block finished at 10 inches for me but a sewed a very scant 1/4 inch seam. I absolutely love this block and the ruler. Good luck. Can't wait to see your creation. Yolanda

IMHO the heat set photos are more crisp and of better quality that directly printed on fabric. Any one else have this experience? I did labels for my Because of the Brave with pictures of our family soldiers and they came out much better using the reverse print and iron-on method than printing on the fabric using an ink jet printer. Maybe it was just my printer.

The only thing better than a quilt is a quilt with a dog or cat on it!
