Sister in law was just diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer and I've been looking for a quick pattern to whip up, this one just might do, thanks for sharing.

Hi, Patty! I used 4"x6" rectangles and put a black strip on each long side of 1.5" by 6". Then just rotate every other block to sew into rows....it's that easy! Make sure your seam allowance is a scant quarter inch.

I have this pattern too and almost made it for my DGS. You did a great job and I love your quilitng.
