I went to Barns and Nobel to the kids section and found a butterfly coloring book. I went to Staples and had them enlarge one that I liked. I cut templet plastic into the different shapes, then cut the fabric and fused them to the white ground. I finished quilting it and now i'm beading it. When I hace at least one butterfly done I'll post my progress. I hope this helps. Thanks :-)

This is completely and totally stunning!! How in the world did you get this pattern..did you make it up? I am sorry. I am unfamiliar with 'syart' .. So amazing. Beautiful. Look forward to seeing it when you are finished. Can't imagine it being improved.

Amazing butterflies!! Please show us the whole thing when you get it finished.

OK you cannot just tell us you're going to bead this and leave it at that! Did you applique the butterflies? Are they cut in individual pieces and fused to a silhouette? Is this your pattern or a purchased one? Good thing I'm not a cat!
OK I see you answered the burning questions! Sometimes when I see something I want to comment on I do not read the postings first (want it to be in my words). |
That is a beautiful butterfly quilt. Are they embroidery?
