Butterfly quilt update!
 

I am making this butterfly quilt by Talula Pink that was shown by Otis. Here is the link to a pic of her quilt. http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...t-t242106.html

Here are the colors that I am using and one of each set of blocks that I have already made. I actually only have 4 other sets of blocks to make( 14 sets of blocks all together) and then the 136 HST.(ugh) Making the block is really not hard since I am making and cutting one set of blocks at a time and then off to make the next set of blocks. I will remake any blocks that do not go together as I place them. I can alreead see that I may remake the striped block. Will post finished quilt when I get it done!!!!!

I love it Mary, I can't see why you want to change the stripe block - I like it - I absolutely love your colors - maybe I will have to make another one (long time from now). :)

You're off to a great start!

here is an update on the piecing of this quilt. So far I have put together 5 sections with 4 more to go. This is one side of the butterfly with the other side being exactly the same. pattern is not hard but instructions are a little tricky/unclear. Hope to get all together by weekend. I will post pic then!!!!!

Nice work so far, bigsister63. Stay with it. You have happiness ahead, because Tula's quilt is magnificent, and I've run across it many times as the order of lepidoptera is my fascination. :)
