Calling This "Country Stars"

My DD's BFF's Mom (didya catch that, lol?) wanted to make a quilt and asked me for advice/help. She only had a picture from a catalog, though. The picture was of a quilt for sale, though, not of a pattern. It was a very easy looking quilt, though, so I worked up some dimensions for a queen size and then just had to try them out, lol. Besides, my New Year's resolution was to make one scrappy quilt a year, so this was perfect timing.

It's really pretty. But your quilting is what makes this quilt. Nice job.

Love the quilt! You did a good job replicating from a picture.
Dearly love the country look of the 80's and into the 90's. My kitchen was decorated that way. I have 12 ft ceilings and hung quilts I had quilted from old blocks plus wooden roadsid advertising signs and farm store enameled metal signs. Plus crockery and granite...garland of tin cookie cutters I collected over the years. And an old farm table in the middle of room under a large original ceiling fan. Sold most of it when I retired from selling antiques. Miss those days. Would still be doing that if health permitted.
a lot of my stash is from that period....drabs!

This is one of my personal favorites! Thanks for looking, everyone! It's so simple, but so cozy looking!

It may be simple, but, it's simply beautiful and charming. I think you did a fantastic job of recreating from a picture:) I'd have done that, too, on this quilt. Am sure it's going to be LOVED:)
