I do not have a pattern for it, so hopefully it looks ok with them being equal.

I'm working on a variation of a Warm Wishes and all three stripes are the same width. I think it looks fine.

quiltingbea 10-19-2010 07:37 PM

I did one with all three stripes the same and it came out great. Easy, too.

nursie76 10-20-2010 04:58 AM

That is going to be one beautiful quilt! Can't wait to see it finished.

IBQLTN 10-20-2010 05:00 AM

I made a warm wishes quilt in king size and fussy cut roosters and hens for the squares. I used a dark and medium dark on the outside rails and they formed a frame around the roosters very nicely. I'll try and take a picture.

Sorry for being out of tune here but what does a warm wishes quilt look like. Will you show us a photograph? Gail

desertrose 10-20-2010 02:13 PM

I love the colors but have no idea what the pattern is.

Quilting Nana 10-20-2010 03:02 PM

still looks like a rail fence.

CajunQuilter2 10-20-2010 03:16 PM

Darn I was gonna guess "A quilt for ME!!!" as these are my favorite colors. :-)

mequilter 10-20-2010 03:25 PM

How about an Irish Chain?

wraez 10-20-2010 04:06 PM

hmmmm, the start of a tube quilt?

sandpat 10-20-2010 04:10 PM

 Glad I didn't guess...I woulda been wrong. It is gonna be pretty! I say don't worry about the quilt police, if you want your strips all the same width...go for it!

If you go to the "search" at the top, and type in Warm Wishes, you will see lots of pictures. I think there is a tutorial, too.

sylvia77 10-20-2010 06:42 PM

Maybe you'll going to use the print as the center and the strips are the borders?

tmsrich 10-20-2010 08:41 PM

I agree with Carol

quiltnana 10-20-2010 09:39 PM

Sashing?

Gerbie 10-21-2010 08:37 PM

Perhaps a tube quilt, or a French braid. So tell us what is it going to be?!!!

Kyiav10 10-22-2010 05:58 AM

It's going to be a warm wishes quilt. I did post the answer on page three.

I think I will make sure to fussy cut the butterflies so there is at least one whole one in the block. An Irixh chain would be nice too but thought the warm wishes would be a little faster.

Thank you all for playing along!! Fun huh?

Kyia

gramquilter2 10-22-2010 10:21 AM

Waiting to see your finished warm wishes quilt.

lynnie 10-22-2010 10:24 AM
