Oh my. That is a huge and wonderful quilt. I would love to see it in person too.

I am planning on attending the creativ festival next weekend and I will try to remember to bring my camera, so that I can take pictures!

so to answer your question, no I haven't seen it in person....YET!

Yes, I saw it on display in Cornwall, Ontario a few years ago when it was first completed. It is a stunning acheivement. The making of this quilt was a bit controversial. A couple of years ago someone walking in front threw some liquid at several of the blocks. How horrifying is that? Fortunately the damage was limited to a couple of blocks and the they were redone. For that reason when you see the quilt there are a lot of monitors and you are kept a distance away.

I can't even imagine why anyone would try to deface a work of art such as this. :evil:

AND - my plans are made to go see this when it is at the Olympics. :D :D :D
