Very cute and your templates came out just fine. I too would expect that from say a free online pattern but when you put out hard earned money you do expect the whole deal. I would write the designer or the company producing the pattern.

You did a great job making your own templates. You are right, not worth $16 without templates for the pattern. It looks wonderful and your candy corn stars and vine is what makes it.
