Car Seat Quilt for a boy
 

My boyfriend's recently became an uncle, and when I sent his sister-in-law the idea of a car seat quilt (my latest obsession , she was worried about it being either girly or plain. When looking for fabrics being used in quilts, I came across this block on a project on Moda's Bake Shop. I sent her the link to see if she liked the fabric & she fell in love with the block as well. So, I mixed it up a little. "E" is the last initial, so that they can use it for the next baby as well, or hand it down later. I told my boyfriend it wasn't a hint it was time for another baby already, but he says his mother will say it is. :D

Yes, 7" from the top, you attach 18" tie strings on both sides. I took these photos before I attached then. Sorry! :)
