IMHO I don't think I'd use border prints for a card trick quilt. Take a look at Sally Collins site. She does some amazing things with border prints.

I can't tell how wide the stripes are, but I think they would look great.

Wow, that's beautiful. I've never seen blocks done this way. So much for my opinion eariler. I'm going to bookmark the other thread and see what I have in my stash.

Quilter's mirrors might help you decide where to cut and if you really want to cut. A less expensive route would be to lay clear templates on the fabric and visualize or fold the fabric to the pattern desired. Hope this helps. Beautiful fabric!
