I FINALLY finished my work-in-progress baby quilt for my new nephew. I'll be sending it out to them this week, and since he gets a quilt, I wanted to include one for my five year old niece as well!

The baby quilt pattern is a schnibbles called Short Story. LOVE it!!!

I really liked the first one, even though the second from the last row, one block was turned the wrong way. Don't know why, but I always see when a block is wrong.but no quilt is prefect just like people

I can't spot any mistake...looks like they're all right to me. I focused on the positioning of the white triangles (up and down like an hourglass, or tilted sideways) and they seem to alternate.

Anyway, both quilts are wonderful!

beautiful quilts ! so--how was the blue quilt pattern made.please ? looks like strata, then cut. were all the edges bias? or is it really easy & my brain can't see past the patterns that dance around the quilt? the white first border is very effective. love it !
