He finished the tops quite some time ago..and we are just getting them donated.....this is the last one I got a picture of....he did such a nice job I am so proud of him! This was his favorite quilt. I kind of wish we could keep it because it is his favorite but we made it for a purpose....and the purpose is a good one. We need to support our troops and their families... thank them for all they sacrifice! Carl loved the colors in this and the backing fabric ....he also did a "Custom" quilting job on this quilt....he quilted stars in one corner and straight lines to make it look like a flag.... I love your quilting techniques and it is great that your sons are involved. I became involved form My grandmother and mother as a little girl in Elementary school. None of my sbilings kept it going and our daughters and our daughter-in-laws (minus one) could care less about learning!
