It's about 37 inches wide. The finished blocks were supposed to turn out at 4.5 inches, but are more like 4.25. That's why I added the red border.

Thank you so much for the information. That is about the perfect size for a baby quilt. I have been looking in my stash to see which colors I want to make and I have found 4 or 5 that I like. Maybe I will have to make more than one. I definitely have to do one in red, white and blue though, cause yours is so beautiful.

I've been thinking about this pattern for a baby quilt, but it's been on the back burner for quite a while. Thanks so much for posting yours, because now I can see that it's a great pattern that finishes to a good size for a baby. Love your red/white/blue theme.
