Thank you all for your kind comments and encouragement. I am going to give it to DH because he is so supportive of my quilting. He is always willing to do chores and cooking so that I can sew. He's such a sweetheart.

I started out with 10" blocks, that is why it is so big. Then I ended up squaring to 9".

Beautiful....I just finished up the top for the carpenters star. Sure is something about them that draws your eye to them. Can't wait to get it sandwiched and start quilting on it.
