Carrot tablerunner for fundraiser

3 Attachment(s)
Here is a tablerunner I made. It was really quick. If you can't tell, the backing fabric has little carrots on it. Thought it was the perfect backing. It is going to be donated to a fundraiser next month for a man that had a terrible car accident. He is unable to go back to work, so the bills are piling up. Thanks for looking.

Hey I really like that. I hope it raises lots of money. That is very sweet of you to donate your talents. Did you make up the design yourself? Peggy

The carrot tablerunner is beautiful! It is so pretty and so useful. It looks wonderful with the Easter decorations. It is sure to be a hit at the fundraiser! How nice of you to make such a terrific item.

I remember when this was posted last year on the Board. My granddaughter and I made several of them. I traced her hands to make the carrot tops, and she handed me the strips of material to sew on the foundation. She made cardw and then we sent one to two of her aunts out of state, her grandmother that lived up state and gave one to her mother. I kept one of course. She was 3 1/2 years old - I don't know what we'll do for Easter this year!!

Cute. I have that pattern too.

Cute! I saved that pattern last year (from somewhere on the web, try google!) ..... and yes, bought the orange fabrics, but never got to it! This year?

JBud2 ... There were some cute Easter Eggs as table toppers that I saw last year. Similar idea ... strip quilting bands of colourful Easter fabric to an egg shaped mat. She'd have fun with those! I hope you had her sign them before sending them off to everyone. What great memories!!

The eggs might have been at All People as well. I'm sure google will help you find them.
Good Luck!
