Caswell Quilt
1 Attachment(s)
This is the Caswell Quilt, designed by Corliss Searcey of Austrailia, and inspired by the Caswell Carpet that is housed in the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC. I completed it after working on it for 22 months while in the midst of selling my ranch that I had lived at for 49 years, designing a new home, building it, and moving. It is hand appliquéd wool on cotton and hand quilted. I was honored to have it receive grand champion at our county fair, best of show and third overall at our state fair. It hangs on a wall above my staircase in my house. I love it.
