What a lot of work that was put into that quilt. you did an excellent job. if she doesn't appreciate it, let me know-I'll have a little talk w/her and then steal her quilt! Thanks, Kathy. She asked if I had any fabric left from her baby quilt and, (not surprisingly considering my fabric stash) I did!! It is the blue background with the little pink hearts. Her cat is a Siamese cross with lots of patchy colours so I tried to reproduce her in fabric. I wish I had taken a picture of it quilted - the longarm quilter did an awesome job especially on the cat block. It looked just like the way the fur lays on a cat.

Oh my goodness! She's just down the street. Maybe I could go visit it to get some more info. I want to make one REALLY bad. Maybe she would put together the batch of free PP patterns she used to save us some time, lol. What a wonderful quilt. If I did ever get one made, it would make a great quilt for a MARL fundraiser.
