Cat Panel Meets Twister Ruler
1 Attachment(s)
I finally took the time to quilt and bind my cat quilt. Since I have allergies, these will probably be the only cats we have around here!
I made the top quite a while ago - summer of 2010, soon after I got my Twister Ruler, and for some reason I set it aside and never finished it. DUHHHH A couple of months after I finished this top, I saw that the ruler designer came out with a booklet that included a pattern for making borders. Mine is different, but pretty close. I've decided to say that great minds think alike. :-) Enjoy your day - quilt something! |
I love those stunning colors against the black. I own one of those rulers! I have been puzzling about what to back a black-background quilt with, so now I know what I'm going to do!! Many thanks for the inspiration!
Love your cats, too! |
Very Cute! I'm a cat lover so I think this is adorable. I haven't seen that panel, but I have some other cat prints. This gives me an idea of what to do with mine. Excellent idea on the twisters around the border!

Love It!!! |
I had forgotten that you could use it as a border. Wonderful job.....and I love your choice of colors.

Terrific quilt! It looks great with the bright panel and bright coloured twisters against the black.
When I first read the title I thought you had used your twister ruler on the panel. Now I'm wondering what that would look like with some of the old out of date panels I have. |
I love this quilt, those cats are so cute and the bright colors are wonderful!!!
