Here's a tip for cat lovers....I get my coloring books from Dover.com ..I have all sorts of lovely cats ready to trace off and quilt when I am ready...you can get all sorts of designs and most are copyright free up to ten in a project...

I love it! perfect choice of fabric and love the whimsical paws! I would love to do something similar as I have a lovely big fluffy black furry boy! do you mind if I download a photo for future reference?

Mia, has beautiful red hair just like my Granddaughter but Georgia's is straight with little curls at the ends!!She is 18 months old, how old is Mia? What a beautiful name!!! :thumbup: :thumbup: :thumbup:

My mom just passed from cancer in March ( Non Hodgekins Lymphoma) after 10 years of fighting! :cry: :cry: Tell her that I will be praying for her and you, and of course all the family! Keep your chin up and fight, fight, fight.
My sister gave my mom a stocking hat while she was in the Hospital that said " Cancer Sucks" she looked so cute wearing everyday for cemo. When she passed we put the cap in her casket. I want to find another cap like it and use it in a quilt for my sister. She was the one that always took care of mom and was the closes to her than my brother or I. Just know I am here any time you want to talk!!!! Shawn ;)

Mia will be 5 next month and starts kindergarten next month too! She had no hair for almost 2 years, just this red fuzz...she's my favorite, as if you didn't know...

I am so Happy that you shared this. I too am a cat lover. My husband and I are happy to be owned by two Maine Coon cats.
I see that your little bundle was peeking out.

OH!! Mia is a Beautiful little Doll!! She reminds me so much of my Granddaughter Georgia or Gee Gee as they call her. Beautiful picture of Mia and Grandma!!!! Enjoy her!!! :shock: :-o :mrgreen: :-P :D ;) :XD: :thumbup:

I too love cats and have 4 but have never heard of Coon cats? Do you have pics of them? :? :thumbup: :lol:

What an adorable quilt. I too, love the paws you added. Where did you find the black and white fabric? I'm wanting to make my son a black and white and he loves cats. He's only 40, smiles, and he wants one of my quilts. Gotta love it.

We stumbled across that black and white fabric at Fabric Depot in Portland OR. (website is fabricdepot.com) I saw it and knew I had to have it! That's what spurred designing and making the Cuddles Quilt really!

What a clever, clever quilt!! It's simply terrific. My favorite part are the little tiny paws sticking out like prairie points around the edges. How sweet!! Great Job!! You are a talented designer and quilter.
