Catch Me If You Can - top
I am so glad to have this floppy complete! It was more tedious than anything with all the paper piecing FG runs. Putting the sections together went a lot easier than I expected, so that was good.
I did not use batiks for this, and I think it turned out fine without them. http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c3...psrhyz129s.jpg http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c3...psqd2da2zj.jpg |
Great use of color. Way too complicated for my skill level. This is a masterpiece!

Beautiful work! What is your plan for this beauty? I don't think I could give that one away.

amazing!!
i agree it turned out "just fine" w/o batiks. in the early works of de jong & carol bryant (? ..can't remember her name, but she made quilts of brightly colored geometric 'progression' quilts) ..their quilts were made like your masterpiece here ...with brightly colored cotton fabric ..not batik. beautiful quilt, i'm so glad you persevered and even gladder that you shared the result with us. |
Wow, that's really beautiful.

Woweee! That is just fabulous! Your color choices & placements are perfect.
